Our public organization successfully implemented the FAO project “Modification of training programs in selected VET institutions”.
The purpose of the project is:
Update educational programs for the target professions below, taking into account the training needs of the target VET and colleges, taking into account the best international and national experience.
The changes in the training programs correspond to the recommendations of the FAO, the requirements of the labor market and the best international practices in the development of modular training programs. Updated training and educational programs and recently developed short courses have been approved by the competent authorities in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.
Within the framework of the project, two working groups of experts were formed, which worked in the following areas:
“Animal Husbandry”. Experts have developed two educational programs in the field of animal husbandry in the specialty (204) “Technology of production and processing of animal husbandry products”, a short course for adults “Artificial insemination of cattle”. The beneficiary of these programs is the Donetsk Vocational College of the Luhansk National Agrarian University (LNAU), which operates on the basis of the Honchar University in Dnipro.
“Agronomy”. Experts have developed 5 educational programs to increase the level of professional competence and retraining in specialties: (201) “Agronomy”, “Fruit and vegetable growing”, “Organic farming”, “Fruit growing in closed soil”, “Modern technologies of garden protection and irrigation”. The beneficiary of group 2 is the Separate structural unit “Novomoskovsk Vocational College of the Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University”.
